Amanuel Medhanie holds an MA and a PhD in educational psychology with a concentration in statistics from the University of Minnesota. An American Statistical Association–accredited statistician, he has extensive training in research design, statistics, and measurement. Through his company, Parsimony, Dr. Medhanie regularly provides school districts with quantitative impact evaluations to help identify which efforts are and are not having an impact on student outcomes. Dr. Medhanie has contributed to several peer-reviewed journal articles in the role of methodologist and statistician.
